Amazing news for all the good food lovers. On 4th July, restaurants across London are officially allowed to open for indoor and outdoor dining.

We know you’ve been looking forward to sitting around a table with friends and family and revel in London’s most delightful venues.  To help you choose the right place for the perfect post-lockdown dining experience, here is some news from London’s most sought-after restaurants. All you’ll need to do is pick your favourite!

Coya Mayfair

We’re in love with Coya. It is an institution and we will never talk too much about the group. But this reopening is special as, during its temporary closing, the restaurant had been completely refurbished with vibrant colours, golden lines mixed with Incan patterns. If you’re a lucky member of the group you’ll have exclusive access to the newest terrace. Perfect for this summer!

The Garden

Amongst the long-awaited reopenings, is the Berkeley’s new terrace: The Garden. An al-fresco restaurant cocooning and fairy-like venue overlooking St Paul’s Chruch. A must-try this summer!

Amazonico

This restaurant is the new place to be since its opening in November. Jungle-like setting, Asian/South-American food and an amazing wine list. If you’re looking for a place to shine and please your tastebuds, this is your go-to restaurant on the 4th of July. However, reservations are hard to get. If you’d like to secure a table for the first day of reopening, give us a call!

Gordon Ramsay’s Restaurants

Petrus, Lucky Cat and their siblings will also reopen their doors on the 4th. The world-renowned chef will treat you with international flavours in a sophisticated atmosphere, ideal venue for a first date dinner.

Meraki

No need to mention how much we’re longing for Meraki’s opening. It is a safe choice for greek cuisine lovers and renowned for the quality of the food and the ambience.

Indian Accent

Looking for exotic flavours? Indian Accent is not among the most famous restaurants in London but it is one of the best for Indian food. Innovative Indian cuisine in a modern but authentic Indian restaurant, a first step towards travelling.

Behind the scenes of Provence’s most prestigious wine tour

Provence is known for its prestigious wines and offers amazing opportunities for a wine tour and wine tasting. Between sea and mountains, the soil allows the production of a unique elixir that can only be found in the south of France. Many world-renowned wine domains have their roots in the French Riviera, especially around Saint Tropez.

For you to know what to expect from a wine tour in an iconic french domain, here is a little story about one of our partners: Bertaud Belieu.

The domain Bertaud Belieu is located in Gassin, a few minutes from Saint-Tropez. Some of the most sought-after wines in the world are made there! The domain expends on 65 hectares and produces 80% of rosé wines. Rosé is the typical drink of the French Riviera. Just picture yourself, on a private beach sipping a glass of rosé, it’s tempting, isn’t it?

What to expect

The wine tour starts in the gorgeous vineyards. Set between the Massif des Maures and a few steps away from the sea, the light breeze enhances the sense of tranquillity. Your guide will explain the history of French wines and how it became french’s preferred beverage over the years. Having discovered the roots of Bertaud Belieu’s delicious wines, visitors have the privilege to explore the “behind the scenes” of this iconic place. Old vaults, authentic cellars and deemed light make the place a true gem that wine amateurs will appreciate. Visitors have access to every room, from the cellar where the greatest and most expensive bottles are kept to the high cuves where the new vintage is being made.

An unforgettable wine tasting experience

Of course, the tour ends with a wine tasting. But, not the usual one. Here, at Bertaud Belieu, tradition and art de Vivre are key. The tasting takes place in the courtyard, facing the gorgeous Chapelle in a relaxed atmosphere. Gathered around a wooden table, under the shadow of a high umbrella, you will enjoy the domain’s best wines while the sommelier explains the subtility of the colours and the different aromas.

This year, the vintage will be exceptional. A chance for the producers as last year’s harvest has been very poor due to bad weather conditions.

A day to visit the region’s most prestigious wineries

If you wish to have a full day visiting the region’s most prestigious wine domains and chateau (Chateau Minuty, La Madrague – Brigitte Bardot’s domain” or Miraval “ Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt’s domain) why not do it in a classic car or on horseback? Make the most of your day and take a Mediterranean cooking class at Chateau Minuty at La Cuisine de Capucine. Enjoy your lunch with the perfect wine before heading for the rest of your adventure.

We create bespoke experiences and make anything’s possible. Create priceless memories without stress, just ask us.

Celebrating Father’s day on the French Riviera

Looking for a gift your father will remember forever? Treat your dad with unforgettable moments.
The French Riviera offers many extraordinary experiences to spend quality time together. Here are our top gift ideas to celebrate Father’s day on the French Riviera.

1/ Boat day: discover the French Riviera from the Sea

Sail through the wild landscapes of the South of France. Plan a yachting itinerary from Saint Tropez to Saint Jean Cap Ferrat’s wild coves. Make the most of your day and have a private chef cooking for you onboard or stop by the Lerins Island to have lunch at La Guerite.  A true gem of the French Riviera! (There was a time when La Guérite was an old Fisherman’s cabin). Relax and sunbathe around a cheerful pétanque game. These are the classic moments for Dad and the whole family to treasure.

2/ Classic Car Day: Explore the French Riviera’s hidden roads

Spend the day exploring the French Riviera in a Classic car. As a local expert, your chauffeur will take you to the right places and tell you stories only known by a few locals. From Monaco to Cannes, discover the hundreds of different landscapes the Côte d’Azur has to offer. Between the Mediterranean sea and the mountains, many unknown colourful places are hidden such as the lavender fields in the countryside (where one of Jacquemus’ catwalk took place). Then, stop in Nice to have lunch with a view at Le Plongeoir. Hovering above the sea on the famous pillar of rock and the base of the diving boards, the restaurant is a trendy and historical place. A must-see in Nice! It offers a friendly and convivial cuisine with a modern Mediterranean influence, prepared with fresh, seasonal market produce. What else could you expect?

3/ Private Beach: A relaxing moment on the Cote d’Azur

South of France has many private beaches, each with its own atmosphere. Whatever the experience you’re looking for, the options available in the South of France will delight you. Here is our pick of the best Beach Clubs along the Cote d’Azur.

La Serena – Ramatuelle: Beautifully located, facing the mythical Bay of Pampelonne, La Serena is bathed in a warm and welcoming zen atmosphere that invites guests to relax. Dream the day away on a sun lounger to the gentle sound of the waves and savour Teddy Evrat’s creative cuisine as you lunch in the shade with the perfume of the sea.

Nikki Beach – Saint Tropez: If your dad is a party animal, the iconic luxury beach club Nikki Beach is the place to go. Festive and stylish ambience all day. Dance and enjoy delicious food and wine by the large pool in an exotic setting.

Palais Stephanie Beach Cannes: Located on La Croisette this private beach offers a relaxed atmosphere while being only a few meters away from the glamorous city centre.

Hotel Amour à la Plage – Nice: Blue and pink setting next to the famous Promenade des Anglais, this private beach is very relaxed and cosy. An amazing place to perfect your tan!

Le Passable – Saint Jean Cap Ferrat: Le passable is an institution in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. Surrounded by the turquoise and clear waters, it feels like a wild cove with the comfort of a private beach. The food is also a must-try there!

4/ Wine tasting and cooking classes

If your dad is a gourmet and a wine amateur, a wine tasting would be a great opportunity for him to discover some of Provence’s elixirs. From Brigitte Bardot’s domain La Madrague to the world-renowned Chateau Minuty, Bertaud Belieu and Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt’s domain, Miraval, in Correns, there are plenty of options. You will have access to the “behind the scenes” of these iconic vineyards and the privilege to taste their best cuvées. In addition, the wine tasting experience is available with classic cars transfers, horse riding or with a chauffeur. It can also be followed by a cooking class with fine and seasonal products. Each meal is paired with the right wine, of course!

Top tips for stress-free and safe holidays this summer

Summer is coming and the sun is already shining on the French Riviera. After the difficult past months, we all need to take a break from work, bad news or even just from our living room… It’s time to take some “me-time”! Whether you are travelling alone or planning a family holiday, you deserve to create precious memories without stress.

Here are Twice Agency’s top tips to organise a stress-free and safe trip to help you enjoy your holiday break to the fullest.

1/ Choose a destination that will please everyone in your group

When you are travelling as a family or with a diverse group of friends, make sure everyone has something to enjoy. While the kids might want to be jumping around the swimming pool all day, the parents might want to sit back, relax and fit in some cultural experiences.  Find somewhere you can experience the buzz of the cities as well as outdoor activities.

Define the type of holiday that you want

  • Relaxation or adventure
  • Beaches or mountains
  • Summer or winter
  • Cities or countryside
  • Resorts or road trips
  • Festivals and culture
  • Shopping or food experience

However, be aware of uncertainty. Due to the current situation, we’re all wondering how holidays will look like this year. Lockdown might come back and some businesses from restaurants, to shops and bars, might stay shut. So, a destination with plenty of outdoor activities and beautiful landscape would be the smartest option. The French Riviera is perfect for that!

Saint-Tropez

Saint-Tropez is a perfect holiday destination for any groups looking to enjoy the diversity that the South of France has to offer. From lively beach clubs to spectacular and wild beauty spots. Provence is also home to the finest rosé wines such as Chateau Minuty, La Madrague (Brigitte Bardot’s domain), or Château Sainte Roseline to name a few. These wineries are open for private wine tours through the vineyards (and wine tastings of course).

Cannes

Cannes will please the glamour and farniente lovers with its famous private beaches (La Plage du Martinez, Palais Stéphanie…) along La Croisette.

For those wishing to discover wild coves and experience the true provençal colourful streets, Nice will outreach your expectations.

Monaco

Monaco will please the shopping addicts. Indeed, the Place du Casino has just been refurbished and more spectacular than ever. It hosts the most high-end designer stores such as Dior, Bulgari at One Monte Carlo mall. This summer, be among the firsts to experience this new trendy place.

2/ Plan for your kids too

Travelling with kids shouldn’t prevent you from going on holidays. In order to avoid uneasy situations, a little extra planning is necessary.

Select an accommodation safe for kids and with plenty of space. Villas usually offer large and beautiful gardens which are perfect for outdoor activities as well as privileged access to the most beautiful sea views.

Look for family-friendly activities. Rent a boat to access the most magical and intimate swimming spots,  discover South of France’s historical places and fairy lavender fields, have a guide telling you fascinating local stories. You can even hire a private chef for cooking classes at home, from simple recipes to fine dining experiences.

3/ Streamline your holiday planning

Sometimes holidays are stressful just because you have to make a ton of decisions and coordinate with other people. To avoid stress during your trip, make sure to plan all the logistics in advance, flights, airport transfers etc. Depending on the location, you might need to hire a car or book taxis in advance to go to the restaurant or to the various places you wish to visit.

Our recommendations:

  • Hire a chauffeur for freedom and stress-less trips. Travel wherever and whenever you feel like it.
  • Book a helicopter transfer to avoid traffic, save time and enjoy the French Riviera’s stunning landscapes from above.

4/ Plan ahead your bucket list activities

Fail to plan, plan to fail. If you’re keen to make one activity the standout highlight of your trip – a cruise between St Tropez and Saint Jean Cap Ferrat is a must. It is important that you organise it well in advance. The French Riviera is in high demand during the summer months and activities are quickly booked out. Booking some experiences require a lot of research to secure the best dates and operators. By doing your homework properly, you stand the best chance of making that bucket-list wish come true.

If you don’t have time to do research, have local travel experts recommend and take on tasks. Ask travel professionals and local experts, they will drive you out of the beaten paths. Spend an afternoon on a wild cove surrounded by pines, hike to the most beautiful and hidden places only known by a few locals. Because today it is important that you stay secluded, holidays in hidden paradises of the French Riviera are the trendiest. If restaurants are not your cup of tea at the moment, don’t prevent yourself from spending a cosy moment with your family/friends around a joyful table, eating Michelin-starred chef cuisine.

5/ Choose the right accommodation

In the current situation, villas are ideal as they offer a “safe space” away from crowds, with large outdoor spaces, private pools and for some of them, even a private cinema and gym. A villa also offers a peaceful and quiet environment surrounded by nature. There is nothing more relaxing than waking up every morning with an astonishing view of the sea!

If you’d rather experience the buzz of the city, a hotel is your best choice. Located in the centre of Cannes, Monaco, Nice or Saint-Tropez, hotels are perfect if you prefer to stay in a vibrant environment with direct access to the shops, restaurants and beach clubs.

6/ Let someone help you

Holidays are all about enjoying time with the ones you love, taking time to relax and enjoy new experiences.  Let someone else take care of the housekeeping, cooking and childcare.

Our concierge services will give you access to

  • The best services no matter what you need: a trusted on-site contact available whenever and for whatever you may need, even last minute.
  • Local experts without wasting time searching for what you’re looking for, with the guarantee to meet and exceed your expectations.

BONUS: Make copies of important documents & check your passport

Make sure you have a passport ready and valid. Don’t forget to make copies of important documents so you don’t need to bring them with you on holiday.

Using concierge services takes the stress away. Thanks to our knowledge of the French Riviera and our special connections, we find the best ways to take you wherever and whenever you wish. If planning makes you anxious, share the load and rely on our local lifestyle managers. We take care of your whole stay. How to stay healthy during Coronavirus isolation?

In these uncertain times, staying at home means working, eating, sleeping, relaxing or playing in the same environment and it tends to be mind confusing and you might find it hard to separate the working hours from your personal life. As much as work-life balance matters more than ever, keeping your mind busy and your body moving is important. To help you deal with isolation and find the right balance here are some tools, ideas and innovations that will help you go through the Covid-19 challenge.

Keep a routine.

Keeping the rhythm matters to be able to separate the working hours from your personal life. Wake up at the same time every working day, keep the same working hours as well as a 1h lunch break at the same time every day.

Define your working space.

Keeping your working space separate from your sleeping area will help to disconnect from work once your working day is over. Today more than ever it is important that you keep time to take care of yourself and spend time with people if you’re living with (your partner or family) or to call your loved one to keep a social contact and stay positive.

Eat well.

Cooking good food, comfy and healthy recipes is essential to stay in good shape while staying home. It is also a good way to keep your mind and body busy with something that will bring you pleasure even once it’s done. You’re creating something for yourself, plus, this activity is limitless as you can cook sweet or savoury for any time of the day. If you’re not inspired or are not a cook yet, our partners reveal daily recipes just for you.

  • Big Mama Group: Just subscribe here and receive one recipe per day.
  • Firmdale: The 5-star hotel group shares many innovative recipes, find them here.
  • Hide Restaurant: The restaurant shares cooking classes from the kitchen on their IGTV, find the classes here.

Tip +: If you’re lazy on a Sunday evening (even every day!), many restaurants like Hide are shipping your favourite dishes just check on their website.

Move your body.

It has been proven that working out has many benefits on your body as well as on your mind. Staying home doesn’t mean being lazy, the less you do, the less you want to do. To stay positive and healthy, doing sports at home is a must, you sleep better, give a rhythm to your day and stay fit.  Working out at home is simple and only requires motivation. Here are some tools to help you find the motivation.

Apps. There are many apps for at-home exercises:

  • Freeletics
  • Adidas Training
  • Fitaya : boxing classes, yoga, pilates, HIIT etc.
  • Aloyoga: yoga classes to work on flexibility, relaxation, breathing, mindfulness

Virtual classes.  Many instructors have decided to give online classes as an act of solidarity during isolation. The plus? Have an instructor that motivates and pushes you.

  • LaptLondon (@laptlondon) does daily 30-min live virtual classes on Instagram and Facebook
  • Trainmore (@trainmore) offers daily classes of yoga, HIIT, Fit boxing etc. The schedule is given every week on Instagram
  • L1 Performance (@l1performance) offers daily live classes, the schedule is given every week as well.
  • SWEAT is a website with online classes, every day your instructor teaches, trains and motivates you. (For women only) They also offer weekly healthy meal plans and shopping lists.

If you’re a cardio-oriented person, you can still go outside for a run as long as you’re going alone, and avoid touching things. When you come home after working out outside, wash your hands first, then put your clothes in the laundry basket away from a frequented space and go straight to the shower. Try not to leave the house more than an hour per day.

Treat yourself.

After a hard-working day or a hard week. Treat yourself with a glass of wine or a cocktail that you took time to make. Since we’re all stuck at home, our partners La Compagnie des Vins Surnaturels, in London (part of Experimental Group) have decided to deliver wine all over London. For the spirits aficionados, once a week, the crew will ship a pack made with four 25ml miniatures of curated spirits to your house.

Tune in every Saturday at 5.30 pm BST to join a live tasting session with one of their bartenders @henriettahotel Instagram. The tasting session will run through the selected spirits and end with a quick demonstration of a simple, easy to mix cocktail at home. Firmdale group also shares their signature cocktail recipes, you can find them here. Cahoots London (part of Inception Group) will release their crazy cocktail’s recipes on @cahootslondon IGTV, starting with the delightful Vera Lynn!

Take care of yourself.

Now is the time to do what you said you would “if you had the time”. Read the book you’ve been wanting to read for ages. Watch this film you said you’ve watched but never actually did. Try this DIY face mask you’ve been waiting to do “when you’ll have time”. Do whatever makes you feel good, cosy and safe, but STAY HOME.

Tip +: If you have no idea what to read, here is a list of the 1001 Book List of Must Reads in a Lifetime. Regarding movies and shows to watch, here is a list of Business Insider Movies & Shows to Watch and Comfort shows to watch.

Explore.

If your mind is missing adventures and exploring the world or wandering in museums, plenty of experiences are available virtually to let your mind escape a bit every day.

Plan your future.

The Covid-19 is a life-changing challenge that affects us all, but we must keep setting goals and plan our after-isolation life to keep in mind that this situation, as bad as it is, is only temporary. Setting goals and planning your future will help you go through the crisis remembering that brighter days are coming. Therefore, if you need any help to plan your life, holidays, getaway, event, wedding etc WE ARE HERE and would be delighted to be part of your future. Feel free to contact us, we’ll answer. Each of us is working remotely but remain 100% available to support you.

London’s Most Beautiful Christmas Trees

Indeed, 1 Month until Christmas Eve!

London is all dressed with colourful and fairy lights. You can smell cinnamon and mulled wine at every street’s corner. But the most beautiful Christmas trees are well hidden in the Capital’s luxurious hotels. So here is where to find London’s prettiest Christmas trees.

The Claridge’s – Maybourne Group.

Capturing the glamour, romance and timeless traditions of Christmas. Above all, their 10th-anniversary tree is the work of the legendary designer Christian Louboutin. This immersive installation invites guests on a journey, transforming the lobby into a frosted forest. At its heart is a traditional tree in gold and red, dressed with fairy lights and gingerbread stilettos – and topped with a gold-leaf crown.

Claridge's christmas tree

The Lanesborough

Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez 2019

Saint-Tropez    Meal in Saint-Tropez

From Saturday 28th September to Friday 6th October, celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez. The show will be taking up all the space onshore, in and around the port of the legendary town of Saint-Tropez. To enjoy the French Riviera at its best, let us organise your stay. Here are some recommendations on what to do in Saint Tropez.

The beauty of Saint-Tropez is its lifestyle. No matter if you fancy a relaxing night with a nice dinner or a crazy weekend partying with celebrities, St-Tropez has it all.

A night out in Saint Tropez

For those wishing to dance the night away, head to Les Caves du Roy. Les Caves du Roy is the famous club of Byblos Hotel. You will find baroque columns with gold brocade still tower above the VIP booths embroidered with the notorious Byblos insignia and oriental touches. But most of all, you will certainly find celebrities. Adored by the like of Mick Jagger, Jack Nicholson or Cher, no surprise that this nightlife gem turned 53 this year and is still an institution in the South of France.

The legendary Papagayo has reinvented itself as Gaïo. Still ultra-trendy and chic! Dine and dance in one of St Tropez’s hottest spots to spend the night.

No need to choose between a restaurant, a lounge bar or a club, L’Opera has it all. Enjoy a bottle of Champagne admiring the view on the Port before enjoying a fine dinner with seafood, before ending the night dancing in a white hype venue.

If you feel like dancing all night and lose control, the VIP Room is where you have to go for a wild night. Glamour and champagne are the key-words to a successful night in Saint-Tropez and the VIP Room is where to find it. It is only open from June to early September, so hurry up!

Fine dining in Saint Tropez

Fancy a seafood plate? Head to Le Girelier, located on the port, and lunch with a view on the majestic sailing boats of the Gulf of Saint Tropez.

For true Italian cuisine in a world-renowned venue, book a table at Cucina, at the 5-star Palace Byblos Hotel. This Italian restaurant opened this summer 2019 but is already a place not to be missed.

If you planned to go to L’Escale and you can’t find it, don’t worry, it has just been refurbished and is now La Petit Plage by Eric Frechon. Still iconic, the setting is cocooning and features colourful plates for a true chill moment away from the crowd. Their speciality: the legendary Tarte Tropezienne with a twist and it’s just as delicious

Want to travel for dinner? Salama restaurant opened its doors at the former Villa Romana earlier this year. It offers traditional Moroccan food in an oriental, modern setting, hidden in an alley, few steps away from the Port of Saint Tropez.

Where to chill on Pampelonne Beach?

Cabane Bambou has been entirely refurbished and opened the doors of Saint-Tropez’s new chilling heaven in April. Discover a quiet beach club, away from the crowd on Pampelonne Beach.

Among this year’s new gems, find La Serena, in Ramatuelle. Set on Saint-Tropez’s famous beach, La Serena offers all you need for a glamorous and relaxing afternoon. This beach club is the illustration of happiness

The famous luxury hotel, Spa & Villas La Reserve, in Ramatuelle, has also its own private beach: La Réserve à la PlageWild, intimate and chic for a true Tropezian day on Pampelonne beach.

Let us take care of your stay and get access to the French Riviera’s most private and high-end venues. One contact for all your needs.

Top 3 Must-Try Luxury Experiences

We live in a world where it has become increasingly difficult to be able to enjoy life without being pressured by our responsibilities. How is it even possible to even take a break when there are just so many things to do ?

That is when concierges come in the picture. You might have imagined them as an old and wise figure, here to obey your orders when you give them, but that would underestimate their potential in expanding your possibilities. If you have considered using their services but still wonder how they could really be useful, the following examples list just some of the incredible experiences that a concierge agency can offer.

  • A private helicopter transfer

Once you’ll discover how fast and reliable this means of transport is, you’ll probably never set afoot in public transport again. A private transfer in helicopter is a great way to get you wherever you want, much faster than any car could go. Whether you are in for a little skiing trip in the French Alps followed by a dip in the Mediterranean on the shores of Corsica, the isle that lives up to its reputation of beauty further south of the French coast, a gliding experience in the sky can do that and give you plenty of time to enjoy the scenery as you go by.

  • A personal shopper to get you exactly what you want

Sometimes you just don’t have the energy or free time to get some things you might really want or need. Other times, you might have found the bag or coat of your dreams but you’ll discover that it’s a limited edition that isn’t available where you live. In both scenarios, you can trust a personal assistant devoted to getting what you want with the prior knowledge and experience of your tastes and wishes. Thanks to them, you’ll get the pleasure of having what you want, without the hassle of going through the many and time-wasting steps to acquire them.

  • A private chef for a comfortable yet sumptuous dinner

Preparing a splendid dinner is no easy task, especially when one has a busy lifestyle. On top of that, preparing the meal also includes spending time in the kitchen, separated from the guests and wasting some valuable time you could have with them. With a private chef, you can focus your time on your guests to give them the warmest welcome while ensuring the high quality of their meal as well as an impeccable service. And of course there won’t be any dishes to wash.

The 71st edition of the Cannes Film Festival is in full swing for a week now and illuminates the world with all its stars on the red carpet. However, this meeting between cinema and glamor is not the only thing to see along the Croisette, especially when the sun goes down.

From La Plage Majestic 71 to Madame Monsieur, the city of Cannes reveals its festive side by hosting the most select evenings of the Film Festival. Unmissable places for unforgettable parties, let’s have a look to the best nightclubs to party during Cannes Film Festival!

The most mythical: La Plage Majestic 71

Just in front of the Lérins Islands and affiliated with the Luxury Le Majestic hotel, La Plage Majestic 71 is one of the must-attend rendezvous of the Cannes Film Festival. It is a nerve center of the Croisette where journalists and teams of promotions of films in the running meet.

Casual during the day, the place gives way to the most popular parties once night falls and host the opening and closing parties of the Film Festival, the opening night of the Marché du Film, the China Night and many others. Definitely the perfect hotspot to enjoy the Mediterranean panorama.

On the top floor of the JW Marriott hotel, the place hosts the biggest stars such as Marion Cotillard, Diane Kruger, George Miller, Quentin Tarantino or Sofia Coppola who always trust the organiser who signs tailor-made premium receptions.
