London never fails to surprise us with a constant evolution in its hospitality industry.

The biggest names come from a long way to settle an address in one of the biggest European Capitals (Geographically speaking). Whether it is Hotel Groups, Restaurants or Night Clubs, having your name listed in the English Capital represents a quite new important addition to your international growth.

At this beginning of 2025, we are introducing you to 3 new restaurants opening in London, all at similar times, this February. The first one, the Pan-Asian brand from the UK and Internationally renowned chef Gordon Ramsay, opening its third venture of the name in the UK. Lucky Cat Bishopsgate is really the opening you don’t want to miss with its astonishing view. Another group, not famous in the United Kingdom yet, but which is already well established in the South of France with multiple successful restaurants, La Môme Groupe is opening its first international restaurant, and they haven’t chosen a random location. The third place, a totally new brand, which is making a point by opening a sumptuous restaurant in the luxury area of Knightsbridge, will be surprising you by its Italian flair, named Alba Ristorante.

LUCKY CAT by Gordon Ramsay at Bishopsgate

Nestled to Level 60 at 22 Bishopsgate, this new Lucky Cat is officially London’s highest restaurant, offering a 360 degree view of the British Capital with floor-to-ceiling windows. Like it wasn’t enough, in addition to the main restaurant, you will be “Lucky” to enjoy fresh air and London’s skyline on the roof terrace when the weather permits it.

Gordon Ramsay opened the first Lucky Cat restaurant in Mayfair, London in June 2019, just before the industry suffered with the difficult times of the coronavirus pandemic. A challenging period to open a new concept. Nevertheless, Ramsay, strong from his long time experience in the industry, and surrounded by a long lasting team of professionals, has managed to sail towards success, and has opened after the storm the second Lucky Cat restaurant in Manchester in June 2023, followed by Miami Beach six months later in January 2024.

The new addition is ideally located in the area of La City between Bank and Liverpool street stations. Lucky Cat Bishopsgate has a strategic emplacement to welcome private events, either for your corporate needs during the week, or for your private party on the weekend away from the West end.

Three spaces are welcoming you to dine and drink. The Restaurant, the Bar and the Raw Bar. The Raw & Sushi Bar invites you to experience a culinary adventure at the counter, where you can admire the art of the chefs in front of you. From the chirashi ceviche and rich textures of their tuna tartar, to an exquisite selection of sushis, it’s the perfect setting to enjoy this new place in the walk-in after your office day.

However, that’s in the main Restaurant where you will be able enjoy the full Lucky Cat experience. It is a contemporary vibrant fusion of East and West brought to life through an Asian-inspired menu of sharing concepts. The open kitchen of the Restaurant is the main attraction, where the chefs are doing their show to serve you a mix of fresh seafood from the Raw Bar and fiery flavours from the robata grill. If you feel like an adventurer, the Bar will satisfy your desires with a selection of Signature Cocktails to discover new flavours with their elegant creations offering an Asian twist to classic drinks. If you are a tequila aficionado, the Okinawa Margarita will suit your taste with its shikuwasa japanese citrus liqueur, shiso syrup, supasawa and thai basil. For the whisky amateurs, you can try the revisited classic Gohan Old Fashionshed, with rice syrup, gochujang tincture and angostura bitters, or let yourself go with their house blend selection of Suntory Toki, Maker’s Mark, Rabbit Hole Heigold, and Laphroaig 10 year old whiskies, washed in sushi rice and finished with sugar and bitters.

The Bar atmosphere is animated with a DJ throughout the evening, and if you wish to have some fun after dinner at the end of the week, or simply pass by for a late drink, it’s open until 3am from Thursday to Saturday. Lucky Cat Bishopsgate has officially opened on the 3rd of February 2025 and is now available for reservations.

La Môme London at Hyde Park Corner

La Môme Restaurant is definitely one of the 2025 restaurant openings of the year.
Located midway between Belgravia and Knightsbridge areas, the Group opens its new venture at The Berkeley hotel. As a reminder, The Berkeley is a five star hotel managed by the Maybourne Group, counting other luxury hotels such as The Connaught, The Claridge’s and the Emory in London, The Maybourne Beverly Hills in Los Angeles and The Maybourne Riviera in France, just above Monaco. So it is not random, if the famous French Riviera Group finds its new home in a place such as The Berkeley, besides French renowned pastry chef Cedric Grolet, offering both a taste of French cuisine between their walls, and experienced enough to deliver a neat service and quality food to the high-end clientele of the 5 star hotel.

The story starts in 2015, when the French twin brothers Ugo and Antoine, after working several years in the luxury hospitality industry in Cannes, decide to open their own restaurant. La Môme Cannes first venue is borned. But the brothers aren’t ready to stop at one successful place. After developing their clientele to work all year round and make La Môme become one of the top places to be in Cannes, in 2018, the opportunity to open a beach club on La Croisette shows up and they seize it to complete the offer in Cannes.
A few years later, during the challenging times of covid-19, they manage to prepare their third adventure at the former Restaurant La Marée in Monte-Carlo. In 2022, mission accomplished, La Môme Monte-Carlo opens to this iconic venue overlooking the Port Hercule of Monaco.

What to expect at La Môme London?
“We want to bring part of the elegance of the French Riviera from the 60’s and 70’s to Belgravia”, says Ugo.
La Môme name was inspired by the eccentric Suzanne Vreurick, known as “La Môme Moineau”, an iconic Parisian flower seller and singer in 1920. Later, she married a billionaire and lived a luxurious lifestyle throughout the 60’s in Cannes.
“As in Cannes, La Môme London will exude the same upbeat, elegant vibe”, says Antoine.
“We want to bring to The Berkeley an experience that is about all the senses: not only the food, but about the welcome, the service, the music, the energy, where something interesting is happening every day.”

Like on the French Riviera locations, dishes will be prepared in front of the guests in order to provide a theatrical experience, such as deboning a whole wild fish of the day or the Tomahawk Black Angus cooked on the Josper charcoal flame grill, ready to be shared.
As for the cocktails and digestifs will be served underneath a glass cloche, to let the smoke of dry ice released in front of your eyes. The entertainment will be at its peak on evenings, accompanied by live music with a DJ, along with a singer and a pianist.

The restaurant setup welcomes a main seating area of 170 people inside, and 28 people outside on the newly created terrace. If you fancy just a small bite after work, a 10-seater bar is available, serving a smaller food selection.

ALBA RISTORANTE at Knightsbridge

ALBA Ristorante opens its 1st venue in the rich and residential area of Knightsbridge, just a step across Harrod’s luxury department store on the Brompton road, bringing the warmth and sunshine of the Amalfi coast to the London neighbourhood.

As much as the competition is fierce in London with the Italian restaurants, this new high-end addition has been well thought after in every detail to welcome diners in a glamorous environment. YODEZEEN, an international award-winning architectural and interior design studio, has been working on the project to deliver a masterpiece of the Italian Dolce Vita.
You will find bespoke art pieces from the renowned Bradley Wood and upcoming artist Linda Leupold, and to transport you towards the Southern of Italy, like a sailing journey, the furniture has been selected from the design house Exteta, which is a specialist in providing luxury yachts.

The restaurant located at the 1st floor hosts a main room accommodating 125 seaters, with an open kitchen and a sumptuous U shape bar where you can sip cocktails before your meal, and for a more intimate experience, a Private Dining Room suitable for 10 guests is available for your small celebrations.

As for every Mediterranean restaurant, you can expect a wide selection of seafood on the kitchen counter, where oysters, fresh fishes and lobsters will be displayed to open your appetite. In order to continuously surprise you, the menu will change every season to serve you the freshest food mother Nature has to offer.
However, the Amalfi inspired restaurant will delight you with classics from its region, such as Risotto con Gambero e Zafferano and Sicilian Carpaccio di Gambero Rosso di Mazara. As a timeless Piedmontese delicacy, you will find the unmissable Tagliatelle with white Alba truffle. Last but not least, as much as Alba wants to keep its Italian roots, it will elevate the traditional flavours with luxurious ingredients from around the world, such as truffle, caviar, wagyu beef and yellowfin tuna.

In order to match the exceptional level of food, the wine selection has been sourced in majority with references from France and Italy. At Alba Ristorante, you will find one of London’s best wine cellars, including exclusive names available by the glass, such as a Château d’Yquem 6 litres Imperial 1991. As for the cocktails, expect a wide choice of Italian mixology, as well as iconic names like Negroni and Spritz revisited.

That time of the year has come, where dressing up in your best scary, freaky, gloomy or sexy attire is a must to attend your Halloween Party.

KOKO Camden, Saturday 26th October

The Camden venue starts the Halloween festivities on Saturday 26th October, hosting top Artists and Djs, BIRDS of Minds, Ahmed Spins, Mimi x FY and Mayssa, in collaboration with Anywhere Else Events. The theme of the night will be Cyberpunk Universe and will take place from 10pm until 5am. If you already know the venue, expect some great light shows.

One of the most iconic music and events venues in London, KOKO opened its doors for the first time in 1900, named the Camden Theatre. Since the opening, several names have followed, such as Camden Hippodrome, The Music Machine or the Camden Palace. It’s from the 2004 refurbishment that the venue was named KOKO and hosted 200 to 250 artists a year, including Madonna, Ed Sheeran, Lady Gaga, Usher, Katy Perry and many more.

However, for new owner and entrepreneur Olly Bengough, that wasn’t enough. Bengough wanted to expand the size of KOKO and was looking for solutions to take it to the next level. Therefore, he acquired the former piano factory behind KOKO and the pub next door, keeping the façades as they are, since they are listed.

After planning the venue refurbishment for several years, when they finally started, a large fire was reported in January 2020 during the renovation work. After this dramatic and unlucky event, and following its initial multimillion-pound work project, KOKO Camden reopened its doors to the public in April 2022.

Olly Bengough was looking for new opportunities to create when reopening KOKO after the refurbishment, for Artists to keep being inspired. Experienced from several trips abroad, especially in Los Angeles, he decided to create a members’ club, named today “House of KOKO”. The House of KOKO is a private members club situated backstage at KOKO with music at its heart. Members can enjoy countless and exceptional experiences in the several spaces created for them (day or night), such as decadent dinners cooked on the warm Stage Kitchen’s open fire, late nights in the hidden vinyl rooms with your personal bartender or the thrill of finding secret Door 101 and dancing the night away on the KOKO stage.

THE BOX Soho, Wednesday 30th October

If you are looking for something unusual and an exceptional experience, The Box Soho is one of the best nightclubs in London where acts and happenings will “really” surprise you. Beware, you have to be open minded to dare crossing the doors of this cabaret in the heart of Soho.

APOLLO’S MUSE, Thursday 31st October

Perfectly located in the heart of Mayfair, Apollo’s Muse is the intimate bar of Bacchanalia restaurant, it is one of the latest additions to Caprice Holdings founded by entrepreneur Richard Caring who doesn’t need introduction anymore in the hospitality industry.

Best Places to Watch the Cannes Fireworks Festival 2024

Every summer, in the Bay of Cannes takes place the International Pyrotechnics Art Festival, and this for over 50 years now.
Once a week, a firework is thrown away from the sea, represented by a different country, participating in this competition.

Each country must combine a show between Pyrotechnic Art and Music to create something unique for the spectators. People are watching from many different places, such as La Croisette avenue, the beach near La Croisette (including private beach clubs), restaurants, rooftops, up to Super Cannes hills or La Croix des Gardes forest.

Every year there are nearly 100,000 spectators admiring this 500 metres of maritime pyrotechnic facade, sparkling in the Cannes skyline.

We have selected 3 places, where you are able to watch this festival of pyrotechny from different angles, benefiting from a great service while your eyes are shining.

This year, summer 2024, 5 teams will take part in this festival, from July 4th until August 15th, being a bit shorter than the previous years. Check the calendar of dates below.

MAREA Rooftop at Canopy Hotel

Nestled in the newly refurbished Canopy by Hilton hotel, 10 minutes walk from the Palais des Festivals, the Marea rooftop is one of the best locations to enjoy the Fireworks Festival.

Offering a 360 view from Le Suquet old town, towards the Bay of Cannes, it’s definitely a top spot where you can start your evening with aperitif watching the Esterel Massif mountains’ sunset, followed by the Fireworks festivity once the day has fallen.

Canopy by Hilton innovates and creates a new language with this new flagship to discover, far from the hyper-fast pace, it aims for a hybrid art of living, blending lightness and healthy Californian living, inspired by the great French artists of tomorrow. After years of works during the covid period, the new establishment opened its doors in August 2023, leaving place to an ideal fusion of Mediterranean charm and contemporary refinement.

On the 400 m2 rooftop terrace, as its name makes it sound, Marea is a seafood orientated restaurant, run by the american Chef “Alexander Douglas Burger”. After numerous detours through the world’s finest restaurants, this Californian has made Marea his new home.

Whether raw or marinated, from land or sea, always light, his dishes honour the natural elements. Marea is the creative marine wave that connects these elements.

Along with the restaurant, you will be able to savour exceptional cocktails with your food.

Either while having dinner, or in the cocktail bar area besides the restaurant, you will find a very original cocktail list named with French Riviera towns, from Marseille, Menton, Saint-Tropez or Saint-Paul. The cocktails have been prepared by Les Bienheureux, a team of exceptional French distillers and blenders specialising in spirits and wines. They have created a selection of unique and original recipes to delight your senses.

LA MOME Beach Club

Located on La Croisette, a few steps away from Rue du Commandant André, you will find La Môme Plage, the beach gem from La Mome Groupe Cannes. Indeed, this is the beach club from the well known La Môme Restaurant rue Florian.

After the opening of their 1st restaurant La Mome in 2015, brothers Ugo and Antoine, had the opportunity to create a notable addition to their renowned La Mome Restaurant, in order to provide a day time experience next to the sea to their existing clients.

Assisted by Interior Designer Samy Chams, they have been inspired to recreate the ambiance found in the 50s and 70s. From the Riva Aquarama colours with a teck floor looking like a boat deck and its mirrors in porthole shape, you are seated at your table sailing to new horizons like if you were on a boat.

And indeed, Chef Stéphane Bichon will lead you to discover new horizons.

He’s a chef who likes to please his guests by providing you with generous dishes and sharing experiences, with a Mediterranean cuisine pairing with an Asian discovery on the menu.

You will start your meal with Hummus, Burrata des Pouilles with local Provencal tomatoes or the Octopus Carpaccio citruses, or you can choose from the Asian collection some sharing platter of Nigiri, Sashimi Roll, Maki or Futomaki.

To continue awakening your senses, it will be followed by an excellent selection of fresh fishes from the catch of the day, which you will order on weight according to your wishes.

To end this culinary journey, the chef offers you the “Grandma style” Raspberry Pie or for something lighter the Fruit Soup with verbena syrup. If you want to stay in the sharing style and feel naughty, the Giant Cookie to share topped with vanilla ice cream and salted caramel sauce or the sharing Tiramisu are definitely the Signature desserts for you.

On the beach, you will have different possibilities to enjoy the fireworks. PANORAMA Rooftop at JW Marriott Hotel

Panorama rooftop is one of the latest additions to the JW Marriott Hotel, and what makes it one of the best places to watch the Cannes Fireworks Festival is surely its location, in the centre of La Croisette.

The hotel occupies the historic site of the first Palais des Festivals and the city’s former Cercle Nautique. It has been entirely refurbished during the covid times in 2021 welcoming an avant-gardist entrance and new contemporary design.

Its rooftop offers a panoramic view between Lerins Islands and Esterel Massif, perfect to have a wide view and appreciate every spark of the fireworks. To enjoy the benefit of this view, you must spend the evening and make your reservation at the rooftop restaurant, whether you are or not, a hotel client. A set menu is prepared for each different event.

The Panorama rooftop opened its doors in 2023, from this year (2024), besides the firework evenings, the restaurant service is exclusively on Friday, with a bespoke set menu changing every week with a different theme. The other days of the week, you can join the rooftop for drinks along with a finger food menu.

And to offer you a Provencal experience for your warm evening facing the sea, Marriott has partnered with Sainte Marguerite en Provence vineyard, who has participated in the decoration of the site and from which you can sip rosé wine with your favourite food.

The entire rooftop of 859 square metres is available for events and welcomes some of the most sought-after events of the Cannes calendar, thanks to its breathtaking view.

Best New Restaurants Opening in Cannes and Monaco for Summer 2024

AMAZONICO Monte-Carlo

Created in Madrid in 2016 by Sandro Silva and Marta Seco, the brand has started its first international extension in London 2019, followed by Dubai in 2020.

Nestled on the top of Café de Paris, on the iconic Place du Casino, the brand joins Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer’s expansive culinary portfolio.

That’s from April 2024, that this new Amazonico restaurant starts its new adventure on the French Riviera.

This immense new venue counts different areas starting with an incredible roof terrace restaurant with a capacity of 180 covers, overlooking the famous Place du Casino of Monte-Carlo. In addition, the terrace offers a 30 guests private dining space, as well as a Cigar Terrace on the opposite side.

In addition to its roof terrace, Amazonico Monte-Carlo has an indoor Lounge bar, where you can sip the Signature cocktails such as Leche de Panthera, Monkey Business or the Palomere, along with tasty delights from the sushi counter or other Latin American flavours.

As for the food, carefully curated by Sandro Silva, who fell in love with Latin American cuisine from his early childhood in Brazil, together with his wife Marta, they have worked on a selection of traditional Brazilian dishes and cachaça cocktails, to create the Amazonico restaurant in Madrid.

For those who have experienced previous Amazonico venues in London and Dubai, be assured, you will be able to find all Signature dishes as well, such as the Ensalada Amazonica, the Arroz Chaufa, the Lubina Al Espeto or the Amazonico Maki. And of course, new creations have been designed specially for the Monte-Carlo Menu, which we’ll let you discover in your next trip to Monaco.

Both parts of the venue, the Terrace and the Lounge, are complemented by live bands playing jazz, bossa nova and Cuban rhythms, as well as the resident Djs in the Lounge area.

The last but not least, finding its way discreetly down via a leopard-print staircase and reserved to just a few exclusive night-owls alike, your Amazonico experience will continue until late in this intimate night club. The domain Bertaud Belieu is located in Gassin, a few minutes from Saint-Tropez. Some of the most sought-after wines in the world are made there! After the difficult past months, we all need to take a break from work, bad news or even just from our living room… It’s time to take some “me-time”! Whether you are travelling alone or planning a family holiday, you deserve to create precious memories without stress.

1/ Choose a destination that will please everyone in your group

When you are travelling as a family or with a diverse group of friends, make sure everyone has something to enjoy. 5 pm: Heading back to Nice to get ready before a very long night in Cannes.

Day 3
